I'm in my early 30s and each time my friends and I hit up a casino, we'll go to Blue Chip or Four Winds for this very reason. I know this sounds awful and I don't know what can be done about the clients but I do know that for gambling bachelor and bachelorette parties, we would NEVER go to Horseshoe Hammond. They also park themselves on machines for hours. This sounds terrible but most of the people that go there are old and dirty and look like they haven't showered or slept in days. I don't know why they've lowered the standard of their salad bar and taken away some delicious pasta options but overall, the buffet is worth it. The buffet quality has gone down within the last year sadly, but it is absolutely the best buffet in the Chicagoland area at a casino. The Sixth Street bar is great - there are quite a few options when it comes to craft beer and the price is great. They recently roped off a non-smoking section which is good for the non-smoking patrons but for those that do smoke, they can still enjoy their cigars or cigarettes while playing games. Horseshoe Hammond is large, loud, and bright.
